We really loved our trip. All the activities we chose we amazing. I do feel like the description of the activities could have been a little bit better. For example, the first day our paper work told us to be ready at 8am and actually the tour company did not come until 9am. They also did not tell us we would be hiking in 3-4 feet of snow. If we would have known that we could have prepared better.

It would have been helpful to be told that most restaurants and shops were not open in March. The only food options were fast food or vending machines at times. All in all, it was good. The customer support was very helpful, except for not sharing information about traveling in March. Glacier hikes and whale watching were the highlights of our trip. 

We did see the Northern Lights on two occasions. Driver was courteous, on time and all went well. Capt. Cook Hotel was a very good venue. Enjoyed Fletchers Restaurant on two occasions. Could not get into the Crow’s Nest Restaurant because on Saturday they were having a Valentines Day Special which was sold out and they were closed on Sunday and Monday. The driver was not as courteous as Anchorage.

We had the most amazing time. We crammed as much as we could in for the week & met new friends. Our Travel Coordinator was great! The highlight of the trip was exactly seeing the Northern Lights with my love. Transfers to and from the hotel were prompt & courteous. Great location. Center of activities and dining. Free breakfast left a little to be desired. But, overall, great! 

Our Travel Coordinator was able to get everything scheduled and organized. She was also able to answer some last-minute questions I had. We had to reschedule some events due to weather and the on-trip support folks were very responsive to email. There wasn't a US-based contact number and my phone doesn't support International dialing so you might want to think about getting US support. Chena Hot Springs and seeing the Northern Lights were the highlights of our trip. In retrospect, it would have been nice to know what tour company was picking us up for the different outings. 

What we liked best is dog sledding and seeing the northern lights twice! Alaska is a great place for a winter vacation. Thanks to the FirebirdTours team, everything was well planned and easy for us.

It was the trip of a lifetime for my family, we were so excited to go! Overall, we admire what a great travel destination Alaska is. Our travel coordinators were great, when we needed help, the response time was almost immediate. That's how I know this company really cares about their customers, booking the next tour. 

I can’t thank everyone enough, the trip was incredible and I think that Firebird helped make it all possible. Every day in Alaska was a new highlight for us, we especially loved Anchorage city and wonderful glaciers.

Great transportation, support, excellent guides, great memories. All of the tour guides we had were excellent. The hotels chosen were amazing as well.
